An Introduction and Summary of: My (Twisted) Pokémon Journey

This is the general summary of this fanfiction series. Instead, this space will be used to give an introduction to it and explain where it came from.I truly started this when I was in fifth grade. In high school, in the beginning of 2015, I wanted to rewrite it and complete it, and it became my first complete work. This most definitely started as a one-off, and a self-insert, but has grown into something else over time. It took a huge online hiatus for the third installment in October 2019 due to my college load, and then through quarantine. Since then, I have gotten out two or three chapters. But I always wrote for it, even if it is mostly out-of-order ideas way past the third book. These storied are based after FireRed/LeafGreen, and also on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky. It is largely not based on the anime. Other than PMD, it is not based on the games, and only uses them loosely as a backstory. I do plan to establish a backstory to Crystal at some point, since people have asked about it in the past out of confusion. My experience with Pokemon games are LeafGreen, Pearl/Platinum, HeartGold, Explorers of Time/Sky, Black, and FireRed (emulator) (and some Pokemon GO, loosely).
