I couldn't work this in, but I can clearly imagine when Matt makes the comment about rainbow capes, Otis whispering "No capes!" in an Edna Mode voice and making Sylvie giggle.3. Strange as it might be to imagine them hiding it for this long, I actually think it's more plausible that nobody noticed *because* they've been together that long, so no-one has ever worked with them when they weren't together. Add in Hallie, and Severide's reputation, and people don't know the relationship they're looking at is beyond friendship.
