Summary
"A Searching Spirit is able to remain in the human world for around five-hundred years. It gets its life energy from good experiences on earth – the more positive its encounter with our reality is, the longer it can stay. When its time is over, it slowly fades out until after four to seven days, it is sucked back into The Void where it has to wait for the next gate to open and let it come back. It is not a damaging experience since no memories are lost, but it is a draining experience nevertheless – The Void changes souls, as I have been told." - Mechthild of Magdeburg (1207 - 1282)
