Inspired by Taylor Swift's classic 'You are in Love Song' Buck isn’t sure how love works, but he knows his love for Eddie feels deep. It’s almost like the more aware of it Buck is the easier it is to see all the ways he loves Eddie. The only sad thing about realizing you’re in love with your best friend is knowing that you can never tell them. Buck loves Eddie so much, but he’s not going to give this up. He’s not going to ruin this little family Eddie has let him step into. So, Buck tries to distance himself from the knowledge of how much he loves Eddie and tells himself that one day in the future he will get over this love. That Eddie will never have to know about this period in their friendship where all Buck could do was love him.
