Sweet Tooth

The Abernant family has used many euphemisms for Adaine's failure over the last six months, because about the only thing worse than having a disappointment of a daughter is admitting you have a disappointment of a daughter. She is a "practical caster." She is "getting a breadth of experience." She is "taking an unconventional path." And no matter how much they look down on her for going to Aguefort Adventuring Academy and "fraternising with all sorts of ruffians and hoodlums" they still expect her to be better. They expect her not to "lower herself" to "barbarism."Well, she's a werewolf now. And she's starting to realise that her parents' stringent condescension is far more violent than any "unkempt savage" has ever been.
