Cutting Deals

Lockdown always prized his freedom.

He never wanted to be tied down in his life, ever. He hadn't wanted to be tied down to the Autobot army when he flunked out of the Academy. He hadn't wanted to be tied down when he was studying under ol' Yoketron. Not wanting to be tied down was part of the reason he chose to become a bounty hunter.

And Swindle seemed to understand that desire.

For all that was said about the mech's greedy nature, Swindle never asked for much out of Lockdown. He didn't expect him or want him to act or behave one way or another. He didn't want Lockdown to change his ways, or to be anything but himself. It was quite the change of pace from the bots Lockdown had dated back in his Autobot days.
