Summary
The room was quiet, and it was obviously a hospital room, ICU probably. Buck turned around, and he could see a body lying on the bed, pale and hurt. Bruises all over his exposed arms, a tube down his throat, and his head wrapped with bandages. It was his body. Laying still, lifeless if it wasn’t for the machine pumping air into his lungs.Was he dead?“You aren’t dead.” There was a voice behind him, and he quickly turned, how did this person know what he was thinking?There was a boy, about 8 years old calmly staring at him and Buck recognized him. He was familiar, of course, he was. How could Buck forget about him? It would haunt him for the rest of his life and apparently when he is dead as well.“I’m sorry that I couldn’t save you.” It was the first words slipping out of his mouth.***Or Buck has an accident and goes into coma which makes him realize how much love surrounds him
