“Watch me as I check my phone,”
After a few minutes, they get to the top of a hill, and the two hop out. Ranboo quickly grabs the snacks and joins Aimsey at the well-worn spot where they sit. It’s a decently sized hill, overlooking their town and the surrounding farms and woods and whatnot. The sky has lightened somewhat, a streak of pale blue along the horizon. Ranboo sits and empties out the bag, divvying out snacks, as Aimsey rummages around in her backpack. She takes out her stupid microphone and a speaker.
“Hello, party people!” He jumps slightly at the reverberating yell, listening to it echo in the morning air. He glares, even as they grin at him. “I think it’s time for… some karaoke!” They make dramatic gestures as they talk, and the speaker beeps as it syncs with Aimsey’s phone.
