Summary
Akira smiles patiently. “You write your wish on them, and I’ll grant it. Can’t have you hating wishes now, can I?”
“Really?” Goro says in utter disdain. “After Maruki’s reality, you think wishes are something worth spending your time on?”
Goro regrets the slight heaviness that falls across Akira’s eyes but not enough to retreat the words. “Everyone needs a little hope,” Akira says, rubbing the back of his neck.
Which almost has Goro before he tilts his head up with an edge to his grin. “Besides, I know I’ll grant any wish you set me.”
Goro needs to prove him wrong.
