Eddie holds Buck's hand, interlacing their fingers and gripping them tight. Buck looks at him, a little stunned and, to be honest, pleased. His eyes go from Eddie's red cheeks to his hair flying in every direction, to the little drops of sweat that deck his forehead like a starry night.

(He thinks he must be a little drunk on love to compare Eddie's sweaty forehead to a sky full of stars, but it's not like he's saying it out loud, so it doesn't really count, does it?)

Or, rollercoasters are great matchmakers, or so it seems.
