Deity of The Sky

Link looks at the red scarf-like cape he was holding, having found it deep in a chest that he had for quite some time. It was simply just something that was left behind when he was founded by the people of Skyloft. As far as anyone was aware, no one knew where he came from, nor did they understand how or why he was left at the Goddess statue wrapped in the red scarf-like cape he was holding. At the tail end of it was his name embroidered in gold. Link. That was his name, nothing more and nothing less, a strange but unique name. Why was this the only thing he had that connects to a past no one knows of?
