Summary
“Wil, I’m probably gonna be too distracted finding Dream and Sapnap to call you,” George replied, a little too honest as he checked over his luggage for the third time. Most of his things had already been shipped to Florida, leaving him with just his carry-on and one big duffel bag full of clothes.
A lot of his clothes were still in Wilbur’s flat. His boyfriend had promised to ship them soon, but they were both silently aware that that wasn’t going to happen. George tried not to think about that too hard, he hated crying in public.
“Call me when you get home then,” Wilbur said. His fingers curled, clinging to the soft fabric of George’s sweatshirt. It hung loosely on his frame, large enough that it was probably Wilbur’s but again, George wasn’t thinking about that right now. “I want to see your new room so I can tell you that mine is better.”

Soulmate AU: soulmates have a tally mark on their skin for how many times they’ve walked past their soulmate. it disappears when they realize. Leaving Wilbur was hard, but George knew he needed to be in Florida. He could handle the distance. What he wasn't expecting to handle was the way his tallies kept going up, so far away from his soulmate.
