Infinite Letters

This is the first time Tommy has seen him look genuinely desperate. His brother, desprate. For what? A stupid simple goodbye.“Tommy, I’m doing this for you.” He looks near tears, his eyes looking watery as he continues.“I’m sorry that I can’t explain why I’m going to leave, I really am. He’s sure that his brother doesn’t hear him.Wilbur stares at him for a long time before he turns around and starts walking away again, the leaves crunching below him. “I never wanted to leave you. I just- this is over for me.”“What’s over? L’manburg? Your greatest symphony?” Tommy snarls at him, clenching his shaking fists in anger. “Your symphony is dead, Will. But I’m still here. I’m- I’m still your brother.” Or: The Wilbur Soot Finale in it's most traumatizing form, and the bits of comfort Tommy recieves afterwards.
