Summary
“Ready?” Dream behind them asks far too soon, the way he asks it suggests either of them has a choice in this. As if he wouldn’t rip Tubbo from Tommy’s arms if either of them fight it. A pathetic whine is choked out of Tommy as his hold tightens around Tubbo as if he could hide the older away from Dream with his body. Shame burns through him with his terror, knowing Dream is eating up every minute of Tommy’s misery. “Tommy,” Dream says, much closer than before, “it’s time to let go now.” OR: Tommy has a nightmare, and Tubbo is there to comfort him after the fact.
