Summary
When Qui-Gon had first told Obi-Wan to train the boy, Obi-Wan hadn’t been sure how to feel. Mostly because he wasn’t sure what little boys needed, other than the occasional feeding and nap, and probably some exposure to fresh air with walks on fine days, if the weather permitted. It was his understanding that children were housetrained at the age, of course, and so the really difficult matters seemed over and done with. Besides that, he wasn’t sure what the child could possibly require. And so, he had embarked on the journey of training Anakin with the cheery assurance that keeping the little boy fed and walked would be a simple enough job. His assumptions were mistaken. Anakin had needed a leash, for one. (In which Obi-Wan and Anakin don't do much of anything.)
