Donatello thought of himself as a man of science, of logic, of high standards; he was often told he was one of the brightest minds beneath New York City. He knew that, obviously. It's hard to not know you're a genius.So when Donnie realized that something was wrong, quite terribly wrong, he wasn't too concerned.His shell was feeling weird, Like it was growing, changing. It was a strange feeling, a strange, strange feeling.It was probably just anxiety.He could fix it, he told himself, if it got worse. He was Donatello, master inventor, one-time winner of the annual Lair Games!And so he ignored the feelings, making up petty excuses. Convincing himself that everything was completely fine and that there was absolutely nothing wrong.And then, it got worse.Of course.ORMerging with the Kraang's ship has consequences, Donnie finds out. It doesn't end too well.
