Julia Cress had a good life, she was a very successful best-selling author living in New York City with a gorgeous fiance and everything else she could have wanted. Was it really what she wanted though? Julia had never really been about the glitz and glam that her success in New York had brought her, or the extravagant life her fiance wanted to live. Yet Julia went along with it all anyway because everyone around her told her that it is what she wanted and needed. That is until her fiance cheated on her with her publicist and suddenly everything that mattered felt trivial. She stopped going to events, her upcoming book was placed on hold after having no motivation to finish it, and her manager had yet to stop breathing down her neck. For the first time in a very long time, Julia felt lost and unsure of which way her life was heading. So when her little sister showed up at her doorstep with a plan to give Julia her spark back and to help her find her way again Julia can't really say no. However, Julia wasn't expecting the Statesman Ranch or the hot cowboy that came with it.
