Summary
On one side: Brendan. Just emerging from the caves of Victory Road, with sweat on his brow and dirt on his cheeks, the challenges of Victory Road failed to extinguish the ambition burning in his eyes. His presence in Ever Grande City is a surprise to none: as the only son of a great Gym Leader, he was pretty much destined to challenge his father, and the League itself, from birth. On the other side: Wally. Who would have thought the boy, a nobody just a few months ago, would come so far? He looks too frail, his skin too pale, his smile too bright; and if Gallade were not standing by his side, he would have been swallowed whole by the field of spider lilies. Yet here he is, a contender for the title of Hoenn League Champion.
