Summary
Shadow the Hedgehog is recently awoken, and runs as hard as he can. Here, at the edge of a lake, he encounters John, a man now alone in the world. The two of them quickly find themselves living together, as John acts as a foster parent to the traumatized and desperate Hedgehog. As the two of them interact with the world, Shadow will find new friends, and new hope, whilst John might find the companionship lacking in his current life.
