The Night of A Thousand Diamonds

I’ve told you that when you get turned into a vampire, the way you see things changes, right? All the colors get so much brighter, and you can see everything at night ten times clearer than you could before. It’s one of the best parts of being what we are, if you ask me. And when I was looking at this rain with my vampire eyes, Diary — looking at how it fell from the sky, and landed on the pavement, and kept coming down like it was never gonna stop — I swear that the raindrops looked like a thousand tiny diamonds, all shimmering and shining in the starlight.
