Summary
Fingon has always been seen as a symbol of hope for the Noldor. Everyone at the Mereth Aderthad knows this. He was the one who had struck out to Thangorodrim on his own and he was the one who brought back Maedhros. Thanks to him, the Noldor are working together again. But Fingon is far from perfect. There are horrors in his past as well. And he can only ignore them for so long before they spill over.
