neverland my love

From the deep and concave valleys of sand you will find him on the cape by an oasis, singing something slowly and under his breath, a siren’s shanty in D minor. Watch him. Down his redolent voice like rosewater. As you approach him, the sound of your footsteps must be lost to the salt in the air. Don’t let him hear you — men like him hear everything that runs within the earth (why, because he isn’t a man at all).Once you’re close enough that you can smell the sun from his unwashed leather coat, you must ask him, “Are you a liar, sir?”With lakes for eyes and glass for a smile, he will say, “Oh, dear Wolfwood, I can’t tell you that. I know nothing but lies.”━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━A warning from Nicholas Wolfwood on what a man can do to you.
