The Beginning of Conciliation

It was a fact that Severus Snape was a greasy git who had no friends. At least, that's how the Marauders saw him. After the 'incident' with Lily Evans, Snape spent his school days entirely alone in the library, keeping his head down. It was bad enough to be seen as a filthy parasite at home, but at school? He had at least hoped his reputation would go up over the years. Even if he got off to a bad start thanks to those good for nothing Marauders, he thought he could turn things around. But he messed up. Again. Like always, what was he expecting? Perhaps he should just end everything, but there was still a fool's hope lingering in his mind.
