Summary
Venti doesn’t pry into the affairs of Mondstadters. Just seeing his people out and about, enjoying the freedom painstakingly forged is enough to bring his happiness. The gift of dandelions, the gift of gentle winds and calm skies… He would sacrifice everything to make sure these things never left Mondstadt.
“When you have a moment, walk around the square where your statue is,” Diluc explained. “Listen in on your people. You will find that there is not a thing to cause worry in regards to the people’s reverence of you.”
As much as he wanted to refute Diluc, tell him that he’s wrong—he knows he’s not. The people believe and as a result, nothing has changed within him. In fact, he finds himself stronger than ever before. Hearing it confirmed is relieving.
When Venti feels lesser than himself, Diluc comforts him in his time of need.
