Steals your quirks

There was a guy with an obvious meta power - giving him the head and paws of a lion, unlucky - and a couple other people fighting against him. Weirdly, both of them seemed to have powers, too; One was dressed like a mummy, throwing his bandages around, while the other was decked out head to toe in denim, strings stretching out from his fingers.

...Hisashi heard some rumors about the government creating a special force comprised of meta users, solely for the goal of detaining other meta users, but he thought it was still in its early stages. To see a team fully-functional, with people cheering for them...

"That's so cool," Yoichi said, stars in his eyes, the implications of the fight going straight over his head. "They're like superheroes!"

They're government pawns, Hisashi thought, but didn't voice.

Or: Hisashi and Yoichi get thrown into the future. They're a bit too busy to notice that, though.
