Summary

He can’t help it. The way his stomach churns over itself and his heart clenches painfully when his mind crosses those forbidden lands. The way he touches his left arm when he’s deep in thought, stroking the lines of his mark without realizing. The way there are times in which he wakes up feeling lost, like there’s something he’s missing and his mind goes haywire when he looks all around him and finds nothing. No one.He hates it with a passion. He knows he’s his own person, he knows he doesn’t need anyone to be complete. That's why he curses his fate vehemently, and covers his mark even when he’s in the solitude of his own bedroom. And still, he has it memorized; every line, every drop of color, every bump of it on his skin, engraved there permanently. An eternal reminder of something he can’t get. Something he doesn’t want.(And yet he feels the need of.)
