Facing The Past

Rollan has always been the last one out of the Four to admit that he needs help.Whether it's asking a stranger at Greenhaven Castle for directions to an unused room just to have alone time with Essix or struggling with the death/loss of someone he loves, Rollan finds the idea of asking for help distasteful.But unlike the other member of the Four who shares a similarly ardent aversion to the act of asking for help, Rollan's resistance to this action doesn't stem from a lack of self-confidence.It comes from a fear of being vulnerable, of betraying the witty and tough persona he has built over the years and who most of the world sees him as.Even after a whole year of traveling around the world, Rollan has not sought to try understanding, to process, to accept the traumatic past that has shaped him into who he is today.After Olvan gave the Four an opportunity to catch up with their private lives for a week, Rollan immediately decides to visit his mom. But unbeknownst to him, a seemingly casual visit back to his mother's school in Concorba is where he begins to heal from the shadows of his past.And hero Rollan learns that sometimes, it's okay to not know what to say, or how to say it.
