Ranpo hated being yelled at, it made his composure fall apart like a crumbling facade. He was incredibly sensitive to loud noises and agitation specifically directed towards him, the notion of upsetting someone he cared for always made him spiral. The memory of being screamed at and glared at with an icy gaze by his boyfriend, even for a second, sent shivers down his spine, making muscles nervously twitch under skin and breaths come out in rough gasps. It made Ranpo feel like a kid, a brainless kid who lacked awareness and tactic and who was, essentially, stupid. And he couldn't afford to even appear stupid, no, not under any circumstance. Not when he was supposed to be the greatest and the smartest.
