Summary
Pointing at Bateman, Ratty orders Lloyd, "Shoot that man."
Bateman taunts Lloyd, pointing out in front of God and everybody that Lloyd’s never taken a life. Ratty watches tensely, her heart beating faster. This is going someplace she didn’t intend for it to go.
“If you don’t stop talking,” Lloyd tells Bateman, “I’m gonna have to put a bullet through you.”
Then Bateman starts quoting Shakespeare, and Ratty knows the verse.
