Summary
Mu Qing?! WHAT THE HELL?
He rolls his eyes.
Of course your first instinct would be to destroy my palace, you asshole.
Feng Xin’s voice is angry and panicked in his ear: WHO CARES ABOUT THAT?!
Oh, really? FINE—
Just for the hell of it, Mu Qing lets out a burst of spiritual energy in retaliation, satisfied when the foundations of the palace around him rattle, earning a few surprised yelps from some nearby deputies when a few adjoining rooms crash inwards. When he turns to glance back at the mirror, there are cracks spider webbing through the glass.
Instead of responding in the communication array, Feng Xin — or rather, Feng Xin wearing Mu Qing’s body — bursts through the door, unbothered by the dust and debris outside of his personal chambers. His glare is harsh, but not nearly as harsh as Mu Qing knows his face can be.
“What the fuck, Mu Qing?”
-
or, Mu Qing and Feng Xin wake up in each other's bodies.
