Summary
Perseus Jackson wakes up in the middle of a street he's never seen before, in a city he doesn't recognize, with no memories to clue him in as to how he got there.
Strangely, he's not the only amnesiac teenager on this road.
Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the country, Annabeth Chase and Reyna Ramirez-Arellano secretly set out to search for their missing friends.
----
Instead of swapping Percy's and Jason's places at the beginning of the Heroes of Olympus, they are both placed in the middle of the country, together, with no memories between them. Told in alternating chapters is the story of the amnesiacs' attempts to find their homes, and that of their friends, guided by a series of dreams and visions that are just a little too convenient.
