Keep Me in Your Shade

Tom had arranged to meet with Matt to film an episode of The Park Bench- in a park, for once. He didn’t have to bring much gear, Matt dealt with that (as usual) only a camera and a coat. Over the… years, he realised, of filming these videos, they developed a rhythm of doing it. He was, usually, quite relaxed, and treated it as a chance for friendly banter and keeping in touch, but over the last few recording sessions he felt more and more nervous to see Matt. He wasn’t sure why; after all, they’d known each other for over a decade, and this… unease that rose in him every time he saw Matt only appeared recently.
