Summary
Obi-Wan’s new padawan was not silent.Anakin talked when he was asked to, was sufficiently polite with his words and his manners once the etiquette of the Temple had been explained to him, and his teachers thought of him as a well-behaved if under-performing student. On the trip back to Coruscant, the Naboo pilots had raised smiles from the boy, and Anakin had laughed and joked with Queen Amidala easily enough. Within the Temple itself, Obi-Wan had overheard Anakin talking to R2-D2 and other droids he found, and he heard the affection and humour and enthusiastic spirit spilling out of the small frame with great abandon. It was therefore with some concern that Obi-Wan found that their shared apartment spent most of its hours in silence.OR it takes a Temple to raise a youngling, and interference by Quinlan Vos is (almost) always beneficial.
