Snow Angel

"Joe had grown up chasing. Through the fields of his childhood home, he and his brother rushing through the tall grass, calling out to each other through the clear, warm air. Chasing his father’s truck as it drove down the gravel path of the dark, London house he’d been put in. Chasing his stepmother, looking for acceptance but simply being met with scolding or a slap to the cheek. Chasing, gripping at the memories of his mother that were slowly fading the more and more he thought deeply about her. He’d chased and chased his family for their approval, attention, their warm embrace. He’d never gotten it.Hogwarts had been a blessing in disguise."Or,Joe is fighting to be top of his class at Hogwarts, as well as bring home the House Cup to Hufflepuff. And yet, Shorty Hunt, a naturally smart and skilled Ravenclaw, won't stop getting in the way.
