Book 1A New Discovery

Any sensible summer holiday story would usually be woven with the setting being from a humble bedroom to a foreign country for sightseeing, something out of an average student’s essay or composition.Keyword: sensible. Never did Cassandra ever imagine spending her summer on an island. Stranded. Alone (well, not really, more like with her brother and three cousins without adult supervision). Little to no knowledge on surviving in the wild. The book-”Lord of the Flies” — would be pretty handy right now (but didn’t two boys die in it? No way Cassandra would let any of her family join their parents….not just yet).How ridiculous it would be if the family were to gain some magical powers and have hijinks on their tail every step they take, right?....Right?...No way that would happen in the span of a summer……..
