Aberration

The Trevelyan family is well known in the Free Marches for their piety and strong ties to the Chantry. However, what most people don't know is the way they keep that particular appearance. When the ruling couple's first child was born, they found out that it wasn't only one child, but two. Twins. This brought a smile to their faces, as they now had not one, but two potential heirs. They proceeded to have two more children, happily planning all of their futures.

Until one of them came into his magic and their youngest son refused to join the Templars and ran away. Meanwhile, the other twin was adamant about not getting married and producing heirs. When her parents found out the reason for it, they were furious.

The Trevelyans couldn't allow what they considered such deviation from the future they had planned, so they employed powerful and cruel tactics to bring their children back to the plan they had made, so long ago.

This is an exploration of the twins' experiences in Ostwick, as told by Aydan Trevelyan, up until the Conclave and the formation of the Inquisition.
