Summary
The first time Elrond saw Erestor his friend was in the long halls of Gil-galad's scribes, his head down and a faint frown on his face as he inked his page with all his concentration. They met, later, both of them cooling their heels in the hall outside Gil-galad's council chambers as the king and his counselors argued inside.
