Summary
It was only supposed to be for the summer. Long enough for his dad to get some therapy. And for him to stop being so mad at his dad for bringing the ghost of his dead mom into their lives. He was supposed to return home to LA in time for school to start. But his grandparents had been trying all summer to convince him to stay with them permanently. Something he did not want! And he knows he’s not supposed to be eavesdropping, but his grandparents have been whispering to each other the closer the end of the summer gets, and it was the only reason he found out that his grandparents had no intention of returning him to his dad. So now it’s up to him to get himself home, the only problem, he might have gotten on the wrong bus…
