Summary

Scratching the back of his head, Laios laughed awkwardly. “Haha, yeah, it's kinda unexcpected, isn't it?” He looked off to the side. “I know that you said that you never wanted to come back, but I thought it was worth a shot, you know. A wedding is a big deal, right?” At least, it was supposed to be, he thought. “I wanted to have all of my friends here with me, including you.”“I'll admit that I hesitated before making my decision,” Shuro said, still avoiding eye contact. “Having to make plans on such short notice...” He sighed. “At first, I thought that it wouldn't matter much if I showed up or not. But Falin wouldn't go out of her way to invite me privately if you didn't want me here. I thought it would be impolite to dismiss that. Neither of you are the kind of people who would invite me out of obligation. Sometimes, I forget that.” He took another sip, and finally looked at Laios. “I hate to admit it, but what brought me here was also... curiosity. I never expected that you would get married before me. I wanted to see it for myself.”
