He promised that she’d show up, so I agreed, and we’ve been together ever since! It was, like, serendipity.”
“Right,” Heather cuts in. “Serendipity. Meaning, you found something you weren’t looking for! Chris, you gotta cool it—”
“Oh my gosh!”
Heather and Chrissy both look at Vickie, surprised by her outburst. “What?”
“Steve! Oh my gosh, Chrissy, I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner! You should absolutely go out with Steve!”
