Summary
Haurchefant takes a walk in the woods.
His antlers brush the low tree branches, patches of scales black as night outlining a handsome, full-mouthed face, a pair of haloed and faintly glowing green eyes watching Haurchefant curiously. He's taller than any person Haurchefant has ever seen before, and his hair drapes over his shoulders in ivy like tendrils, long, long, long. He is so clearly inhuman that it feels silly to be startled by it, but Haurchefant, ankle hurting and eyes wide and unblinking, still is somehow.
It is with a thrumming heart that Haurchefant admits - at least to himself - that this is why he returns to these woods.
To see this person again.
