Alex is nervous, it’s the first time Buck will be here at the White House, and it’s, of course, a fucking state dinner as Alex’s plus one. But schedules are complicated to arrange, which means this is also their hard launch as a couple—really, the whole idea is making him wanna hurl. Buck’s meeting everyone before it, so he’ll not have to meet them during it, which is somewhat calming for both of them. Alex helped him pick out the perfect outfit and recommended a stylist to help him figure out what to do when he was floundering. Right now, the stylist is in one of the guest rooms with Buck putting on the finishing touches, and Alex is pacing his room. He was kicked out of the room earlier. Buck said he wanted to surprise him with how well he cleans up.
