Look in the Shadows

David Dawson had four rules for keeping himself from suspicion and keeping his life conflict free. 1. Keep his job at the hospital – it has irregular hours so no one noticed if he has a sudden change.2. Be friendly with the people around him. It’s much less noticeable than if he actively keeps to himself, which means regular activity in other places.3. Don’t think about the fact that he’s an assassin when he isn’t actively working.4. Don’t get too close to anyone. For someone who had so few rules left, Basil made him break them so easily.
