its still there but it

“I can’t believe you’re forcing me to entertain the idea of magic,” Wally says, in a voice that’s heavy but trying nonetheless to lighten the space between them. Dick chuckles.“Sorry, Walls,” he says. “But - I dunno what to tell you. The best healing factor in the world can’t bring you back from the dead.”“So you actually…”Dick breathes. He looks down at his dog; usually, when he’s this close to panic, that’s his cue to signal to Ace to help ground him. He’ll urge Dick down onto the floor and jump up onto his lap, helping to keep him present. Dick considers it and then turns to Wally and asks, nervously, “Hold me?”After finally telling his team that he’s a Talon, and what that means, Dick can now fill his boyfriend in on what, exactly, it means. He isn’t sure if he’s more anxious or relieved about the idea, but it certainly helps that Wally seems so determined to prove that Dick’s past doesn’t change his feelings for him now.
