grill me softly

Blank wall-gazing is not Sousuke’s style. And yet that is often how he finds himself after he gets home from a long, exhausting day at work. He could be tending to the dirty dishes in the sink or hanging out washing or hand-pulling weeds from the garden that’s slowly growing out of control but instead of accomplishing basic household tasks, a few times a week he will walk through the door, sorting his mail into a care and a not-care pile, and then get no further than a few feet before he stops and considers the wall like a Gordian problem that is unsolvable. Short of moving out, there is no solution. And he was here first.
