Summary
After Sherlock's death John's therapist suggests he get a hobby. He chooses knitting.
"The first aisle he came upon read “Pottery” in bulky letters and he stared at it in consideration. Something that involved using his hands, he could work with that; but were would he put all the things? He didn’t think there was enough room in the flat for the pottery making tools and a bunch of vases.
Besides, Sherlock would knock them all down out of bored—John flinched at the thought and moved on. Right, no pottery. It wouldn’t be fun to have something like that in the flat without having Sherlock around to smash it anyway."
