Ravio stuck his tongue out in focus, the final enchantment was the most complex. Everything had to be perfect; for multiple reasons. For one… it was going to Mr. Hero. As a gift. Just a gift, nothing more, nothing less. A gift to protect him from his incessant traveling and questing. It was more a selfish request for the hero to keep the item at his side than anything, to keep Link safe. Not for Link’s own safety, but for Ravio’s selfish desires; to keep the man he admittedly loved more than he initially thought he did alive. Link was brash, abrasive and had no self preservation skills whatsoever. But somehow Ravio had found himself more than head over heels in love with him.It was fine, Ravio had it all under control. He had no intentions of ever confessing, just staying behind the scenes, keeping his Mr. Hero safe and that was enough. It would have to be enough. Link didn’t seem to be the romantic type in Ravio’s opinion, he seemed far, far too selfless to allow himself to fall in love with the complications of his position as Hyrule’s protector. And Ravio would do nothing to jeopardize his placement in Link’s life.
