Your soulmate is the person with whom you will share the deepest love. While each person in existence has a soulmate, it is impossible to identify your soulmate without the occurrence of the Bond and, consequently, the Marks. The Bond occurs when two soulmates become emotionally close enough for their souls to touch, causing the Marks, a “physical manifestation of the partner’s soul” (Defini, 1768), to appear on the skin of each of the two individuals.
