Moontouched

The world is a vast plane of existence and human beings are a minority of its population. They scratch out their daily survival mostly unaware of anything beyond the physical realm. Just eking out the bare necessities is all most hope for. When even the smallest natural disaster could wipe out an entire village's food for the winter thinking about what else might be out there is a luxury. But when a young man becomes the locus of a battle between human and other, the things outside the light of the fire, the unspoken, cannot be ignored.  [Rating will go up in later chapters.]
