Summary

The Second Wizarding War is finally over and everything can go back to how it was. But how do you go about picking up the pieces of a broken life after seeing all the horrors of war, especially when you've never known your world at peace? How do you rebuild a new normal when you never knew normal to begin with? These are the questions that Hermione Granger struggles to find answers to following the end of the war. Suffering from nightmares and anxiety and confining herself to the safety of the Burrow to avoid facing the world, Hermione starts to wish that she'd never gone to Hogwarts until Ron Weasley finds her panicking in the kitchen in the middle of the night and gives her a shoulder to lean on.
